Can you imagine 18, 800 hours of service by MFT and PCC interns for at risk children in the Covina area. This is what 16 interns have produced for children with mental health needs, academic support in the current school year. Led by a passionate coordinator for the needs of children, Sasha Hefflin, MS MFT, and clinical supervisor Judy McGehee, LMFT. Through the services provided children have been able to attend school more regularly, have increased their grades, and have had a private place to share their concerns. These interns are provided with a small stipend and financially yield a regular salary to provide this service. If you can please donate to help support these interns that have shared their expertise.
